Double Feature — name both halves of the mashup

Two films share a word — the end of one title is the start of the other, like THE GREEN MILE 22 or SHAUN OF THE DEAD POETS SOCIETY. We've merged their plots into a single deadpan synopsis. Your job: work out both films. The gloriously silly mashup title is your reward, revealed only when you solve it.

How to play

1. Read the teaser — a short, spoiler-light blend of both plots with no character names.
2. Search and guess either film; each correct film locks into its slot. You have eight guesses to find both.
3. Solve both and the full mashup title is unveiled in all its glory.

Hints

Six hints, in escalating order of generosity: first an expanded synopsis — a much more detailed version of the merged plot, character names included; then a star of each film; then each film's release year; and finally the joining word itself, which usually cracks the whole thing open. Hints are counted in your share, so a teaser-only solve is the connoisseur's badge.

Tips

The teaser always contains at least one identifiable beat from each film — if a plot detail feels weirdly specific, it is. Work out one film first, then reread the teaser: everything that doesn't belong to your solved film belongs to the other. And keep titles in mind while you read; since the films must share a boundary word, a guessed first film dramatically narrows what the second can be.
